2019 LA-CCI Symposium
The Doctoral Symposium of the 6th IEEE Latin American Conference on Computational Intelligence (LA-CCI 2019) provides a forum for PhD students doing research in all areas of Computational Intelligence to obtain visibility, feedback and advice on their dissertation topics. This Symposium aims to provide a helpful environment in which selected PhD students can present and discuss their doctoral research, meet other students working on similar topics, and receive helpful advice and feedback from a panel of researchers and academics. The program committee consists of experts in the field and will provide their valuable feedback to the ongoing research work of participating students.
Doctoral Students, from any stage of their PhD, and young researchers with a maximum of one year after their PhD dissertations, are invited to propose a paper on their doctoral research featuring aspects of Computational Intelligence.
Why to submit?
The LA-CCI Doctoral Symposium is intended to be interactive and to provide opportunities to engage with experienced researchers. One of the best ways to do this is to present some of your work and gain constructive feedback.
Submissions should consist of a paper with a maximum of 3 pages that describes the doctoral research which should include abstract, keywords, introduction to a research question, related work, theoretical background, methodology, and preliminary results. Papers must be prepared according to the IEEE CPS format via IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings (https://www.ieee.org/
Submissions will be received by the email < email@example.com >. The submission will be revised by the chairs of the doctoral symposium before final acceptance. Once a paper is accepted, further instructions for preparing the camera-ready paper for the Doctoral Symposium will be provided.
