Presentations

The 8th IEEE Latin American Conference on Computational Intelligence (IEEE LA-CCI 2022) and IEEE CIS Summer School on Computational Intelligence and Applications (IEEE CIS SSoCIA 2022) will be held from November 22 to 25 as a multimodal event. All in person sessions will be broadcasted live on Youtube. All remote sessions will be broadcasted in the conference room and attendees will be able to ask questions to the speakers. Remote sessions will also be broadcasted live on Youtube. Videos will remain available after the event.

Instructions for authors of papers presenting remotely at the conference

For the remote presentation and sessions, we will be using Zoom. We will send you during the next week the information to join the Zoom meeting of your session. Please join the Zoom meeting ten minutes in advance of your session.

As for the remote presentation, please kindly respect the following presentation instructions:

  • The presenter should prepare a set of slides that clearly illustrate the main points of her/his paper, and make sure the presentation fits well within the assigned time slot.
  • Each presentation is allocated a 20-minute time slot. Ideally, the oral exposition should last 15 minutes. The remaining 5 minutes should be reserved for questions and comments.
  • The official language of the conference is English, therefore, both slides and oral exposition should be presented in that language.
  • During your presentation you should keep the camera on and share the screen with your slides.

Instructions for authors of papers presenting in person in the conference

Please during the conference contact the organization ten minutes in advance of your session to load your presentation into the computer corresponding to your session.

As for the in-person presentation, please kindly respect the following presentation instructions:

  • The presenter should prepare a set of slides that clearly illustrate the main points of her/his paper, and make sure the presentation fits well within the assigned time slot.
  • Each presentation is allocated a 20-minute time slot. Ideally, the oral exposition should last 15 minutes. The remaining 5 minutes should be reserved for questions and comments.
  • The official language of the conference is English, therefore, both slides and oral exposition should be presented in that language.
  • The organization provides a computer running Adobe Acrobat Reader connected to the video projector. The organization only provides support for .pdf format. Other formats are not supported. Please bring your file in a Pendrive. Using your own laptop or smart device is not possible. This is important because it simplifies the online broadcast of the conference.
